Open Coffee Scale does not have accounts and does not want your data. This is the longer version of a short promise.

Last updated 29 June 2026.

The short version

Open Coffee Scale collects as little as possible. The website stores only the email address you choose to give us for updates or batch and drop announcements. Scale Studio does not require an account, and calibration, settings, and Lab data stay local unless you choose to export or share them. We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers.

This website

If you join the mailing list, your email is stored in a self-hosted Open Coffee Scale mailing-list system and used only for the update type you selected. The site uses Visitors.now for privacy-friendly analytics and ordinary hosting logs to keep the website working, but we do not use that information to identify you or build a profile.
